California Moving Violation Course

I received a ticket in Orange County, CA for unsafe lane changing. Officer said if I take a driver's course, it will be expunged from my record and my insurance will not go up. I am 75 years old. I reside in Irvine, CA and I received a 23123.5(a) cell phone violation. This is my first cell phone offence, I saw a notice on your site that said the first ticket does not require traffic school and will not add a point to my record. However, the police officer stated that there would be a point added to my record and my insurance would go up on the first offence. Could you confirm? Thank you.

Traffic School App for Phone

I just finished completing your traffic school course on my phone. I loved that I was able to do that. Overall it was a pleasant experience. I just had one small issue. I have a Motorola G stylus and I did have difficulty with the interactive part of the course. The part where it asks you to pick an option after the little animation with the yellow car. It was not clear where to select in the grey area of multiple answers below. (i.e. was I supposed to press on the actual letter of the answer I wanted to choose? Or the actual answer sentence itself? Or the blank space after the sentence?) I did try tapping in all of those areas. I tried with my finger as well as my stylus. Sometimes it worked. Sometimes it chose an answer I didn't pick. Sometime it didn't tell me anything (correct or not). After some trial and error I figured out that part seemed to be just for practice and thankfully didn't count against me. The good news is I had no troubles with the touchscreen interface for the final exam because I got 100%. I just thought you might like some feedback in case someone else had similar issues so you could make the experience even better. Thanks

I am trying to input all the ticket information but the due by date for the traffic school might have already passed.
