Hello, I just completed my course but was not sure if I have selected the right court contact info. Citation was issued in Santa Clara, CA. The court correspondence showed branch name as "South County Courthouse" with different street and mailing addresses. Can you please double check and correct if necessary?

New California Law for Cell Phone Ticket Points on DMV Record

I heard on the news that beginning July that you can take a traffic school class for cell phone tickets? I know in the past that talking on a cell phone when driving got you a ticket, but not the kind that goes against the DMV record. But now, as I understand it, you will get a point on your DMV record if you get 2 cell phone tickets, is that right?

I'm just trying to understand what kind of cell phone ticket goes on my driving record. Also, how do I get rid of the point if I do get the new cell phone ticket?

Also, can you please clarify how the points on my driving record can lead to my license being cancelled?

I was driving through Santa Clara County when I received a speeding ticket and the court said that I can do traffic school. When I paid the ticket the court gave me this list of school's to chose from and I went with your school. Traffic school people please help - Palo Alto Court gave me permission to attend traffic school after I paid my citation and the extra fee to go to traffic school. San Mateo gave me your information to sign up and turn in a certificate to keep my insurance clean. My drivers license is A******* and the citation number/ticket number is 20TR******. I received a note in the mail saying that the court has not received the certificate yet since I did the course first and then paid my traffic ticket after.
