I Have a Speeding Ticket that will affect my insurance and my DMV record

I'm new to driving but I recently got a speeding ticket. I am 20 years old and I want to do well from now on. I would like to know that they suggest I pay online the ticket and take a class with you, so that it does not affect my insurance and my record in the dmv. Or I can go to court and always ask for the traffic school classes? Thank you very much for your help.

California Traffic School 18 Month Rule

I received 2 speeding tickets back in July 2018 within days of each other. I knew about traffic school so I paid the tickets and requested to attend a school with Los Angeles County. I took traffic school for the first ticket and the school sent a certificate to the court so I didn't get any points on my record from that ticket. The second speeding ticket I got a point on my record and I'm aware that the DMV rule is that you can only do traffic school once every 18 months. My question is now that the 18 months have passed can I do traffic school for that second ticket so I can remove that point?
