Need an overview of process for traffic school with a Kern County citation. They said I would get a letter of some sort in the mail. Do I go to court? If so, where do I go? When do I go to court? Traffic Ticket in Montana but Live in California

I received a speeding citation in Montana 2 weeks ago but I live in Ventura County California and was traveling in the state of Montana when I received the speeding ticket. I don't want any points to go on my driving record and I don't want my AAA insurance to raise my premium.
