Speeding Ticket Out of State

My drivers license is issued in California and I recently received a traffic ticket while driving out of state. AAA just increased my insurance over $700 and the reason is because I have another point on my DMV driving record. Will taking a CA traffic school course get this infraction dismissed or reduce my points and lower my insurance?

How long is the course, is there a time limit on the final exam?

if I fail the final exam can I take it again?

if I need to retake the whole course again do I have to pay extra?

I have a traffic ticket that I need to do traffic school for. I paid an extra fee to the court when i paid my ticket to be able to attend a traffic school course. I found your name on the approved list of traffic schools I can go to. I just have those few questions before I sign up.
