Hi, I got a ticket for Riverside County. How much time do I have to take traffic school after paying the ticket? And do I have to pay the additional 63 dollars to take the course requested by the courts?

How will I know that I have been approved by the courts to take traffic school

I received my ever first traffic ticket in Riverside County. I was told that I need to do traffic school so I can avoid getting points on my driving record.

How will I know that I have been approved by the courts to take this course? I paid the extra fee for traffic school option but have not received anything in the mail yet.
