Do I first pay the ticket and then take traffic school
- question from 10/8/2020 by Bernardo, filed under Register Online and Courts
Do I first pay the ticket and then take the traffic schooling? Can both of this be done online?
I have a traffic violation from Los Angeles and I would want to pay the violation online and get traffic schooling to not neutralize (remove) points on my insurance record? Do I first pay the ticket and then take the traffic schooling? Can both of this be done online or does if have to be in person?
Good Afternoon Bernardo-
You will need to pay your required ticket fees (fine plus an administrative fee) to the court in order to be approved for traffic school. Once paid, the court will assign you a due date to complete traffic school. Most courts have an option to pay online, but the courtesy notice will confirm your options.
After approved for traffic school, you can register and take the traffic school course online here:
California Traffic School Enrollment
Upon completion, we will submit an electronic DMV certificate for the court to process.
