Traffic School for Two Year Old Ticket
- question from 11/28/2020 by Shengmin, filed under Eligibility and Traffic Ticket Course
I signed up for traffic school for ticket like from 2 years ago and it had been paid 2 years ago as well, can i still dismiss ticket?
I signed up for traffic school to erase my previous speeding ticket. The ticket is from 2 years ago and it had been paid 2 years ago as well. The problem is that I can't find my citation number or the traffic records for that. I have another ticket that my insurance said that has hit my driving record that I must take care of. So what can I do?
TrafficSchool.com Says
Hi Shengmin-
Unfortunately, you cannot take traffic school to remove points or tickets currently on your driving record. If you have a second ticket you received in 2018, then you would not be eligible for traffic school. The DMV only allows you to take traffic school once every 18 months which is calculated from the violation dates.
