Point on My Record After I Sold My Car
- question from 3/4/2020 by Cori, filed under Dismiss Ticket and Points on Record
Need to get this point off my record that I didn't even do myself because i sold my car!
Good Morning Dear,
I sold my car recently but I didn't change the name on the registration to the new owner who ended up getting a speeding ticket. Now that speeding ticket that the new owner received has actually hit my driving record with a point. I need to know if by taking your online traffic school will that remove that point from my driving record? Thank you! Cori
We suggest you contact the court listed on the notice for the violation. Since you were not the driver, then you can file an affidavit to get this dismissed with the court and DMV.
