What may be the reason for the dmv and my insurance not being able to view that I have completed the traffic school requirment?

I was informed that I still have points on my driving record. I completed my traffic school for Tulare County and thought the dmv and insurance wont find out about the ticket. What may be the reason for the dmv and my insurance not being able to view that I have completed the course?

**UPDATE**
I know now where the points are coming from. I got two tickets back in 2019 that I didn't take traffic school for. Ugghh. Thank you for your help.
