Completing traffic school to avoid points on my driving record
- question from 4/2/2020 by John, filed under Speeding Over 65 MPH Limit and Insurance Increase
My insurance rates are still increasing even after I took traffic school, can you please advise?
I received a traffic ticket in Yuba County California. I paid the ticket and I signed up and completed my traffic school. I thought by completing the traffic school I would not get any points on my driving record. My insurance company is saying that I still have a point and now my rates are increasing. Please look into this.
Your electronic DMV certificate was submitted for the Yuba County court the same day you completed our course on 1/21/20**. The court system shows they received and processed your completion on 1/27/20** which means they notified the DMV.
