Will taking your course help me or will I receive DMV points for this?

Hello,

I received a citation in the mail for turning w/o complete stopping on a traffic camera in Los Angeles. If I take your course will that help me with the ticket? Will I receive points for this ticket? Is it legal to pursue this against me? I would like an answer if you can asap so that I am prepared. Thank you!

Hello Teri-

If you are eligible for traffic school, then you will need to pay the fine and administrative fee in order to be approved by the court. This information should be enclosed with the notice you received. The court will assign you a traffic school due date after you pay.

Upon completion of our online traffic school course, we will submit an electronic DMV certificate for your court so the ticket will not count as a point on your driving record and will not affect your insurance.
