Would like to know why after taking the traffic school course my DMV is showing a point?

My insurance co is telling me that I still have a point on my driving record even though I took traffic school. Because of the point my SafeAuto is raising my rates by over $100 each month. Is there any confirmation from San Diego county other than the Traffic School Payment Confirmation from the school? Can you please help me clear this issue?
