introduces a driver education course that you can complete
entirely online. It is a home study correspondence course
to satisfy the Nevada Drivers Education requirement provided
through DriversEd.com (a Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles
approved online drivers education course – License#:
PRDS00025511). This program meets and is an alternative
to the 30-hour classroom course requirement.
Everything
you need to help you obtain your driver’s license. This
online drivers ed course will provide you with the knowledge
and skills necessary to become a safe and responsible driver.
The DriversEd.com online course provides for a comprehensive
review of basic driving and traffic laws, defensive driving
techniques, and important concepts that will prepare you
for the DMV driving exam and a successful driving future.
Important note regarding
eligibility: This
online drivers ed course is NOT a requirement to obtain an
instruction permit, but it is a requirement to receive a
driver’s license.
To be eligible to receive your drivers license
you must:
1. Be at
least 15 ¾ years of age (but you may start this course
as early 15 years old)
2. Receive
your drivers education certificate of completion from DriversEd.com
3. Have
possessed your permit for:
· 90
days if you were under the age of 16 when the permit was issued
· 60
days if you were at least 16 but under 17 when the permit was
issued
· 30
days if you were at least 17 but under 18 when the permit was
issued
Everything
is at your convenience and under your control.
The
proof and confirmation you need. Upon successful completion of your drivers education
course, an original certificate of completion will be mailed
directly to you and a confirmation of your completion will
be provided for you online. The original certificate can
be taken to the Department of Motor Vehicles as proof that
you have completed the driver education requirement and are
ready to take your driver’s license exam.
