Registered Home School Students: You
may use Driver Ed in a Box® to obtain a drivers license and train beginners
to develop safe-driving habits. Many of the course techniques are not
typically taught in commercial or high school driver's education courses.
Non-Registered Home School Students: If you are not a registered home
school student, Minnesota REQUIRES a driver education program as a prerequisite
for obtaining a drivers license. This program DOES NOT meet that requirement.
However, many of the techniques used in the Driver Ed in a Box® parent/teen program are not taught or only touched on in a high school or commercial driving school course. This program can help you help your teen become a better, more aware and safer driver. Supplement the inadequate high school and commercial courses that only meet state minimums and help train your teenager to drive collision-free.
